Washington D.C.- Today, by a vote of 274-137, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 5749, the Emergency Extended Unemployment Compensation Act, to provide immediate relief to 3.8 million unemployed workers whom continue to struggle to find work in the slowing economy.

Bess Mitsakos, from the Wallace School in Hoboken, New Jersey, received the International Technology Educators Association Program Excellence Award for elementary schools in New Jersey on February 22, 2008.
